INTEGRAL COACH FACTORY (ICF)

Integral Coach Factory, Chennai-600038, is a premier Production Unit of Indian Railways manufacturing railway passenger coaches. ICF is the first of its kind to be established after Independence for the manufacture of light weight, all steel and all welded Integral railway passenger coaches. The factory was set up in 1955 with Swiss collaboration.

ORDNANCE FACTORY, TIRUCHIRAPALLI (OFT)

Ordnance Factory Tiruchirapalli (OFT) was inaugurated by Late Smt. Indira Gandhi Prime Minister of India on 3rd July 1966 with a view to increasing the capacity of Small Arms Production, as an additional facility to the Rifle Factory, Ishapore and Small Arms Factory, Kanpur. Its production started with 9 mm Carbines in 1967, but by the middle of the 1970s it was able to produce 7.62 mm Rifles. OFT is now equipped with the most modern and sophisticated technology including Computerised Numerical Control (CNC) machines for manufacture of Weapons and Small Arms.

Veesons Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd., (VESPL or Veesons) is a leading manufacturer and supplier of Boilers and Small Power Plants from India. The parent company of the group Premier Industries was started in the year 1974 as a vendor for manufacturing Non-Pressure Parts and Veesons in the year 1981 for manufacturing Pressure Parts for Bharath Heavy Electricals Ltd., (BHEL) Trichy. Premier Industries was later merged with Veesons in the year 2009.
